In this character design drawing i was trying to achieve the right type of colour design for a child. The ones that stood out for me was the two bottom design ideas, I especially think the right one is very child like.

This is a character design of different types of faces That I was creating in my sketch book. These drawings were showing what was wrong that I needed to change. I found what I kept doing to the faces was I kept making them look to old but in different ways like the eyes were to small so it makes them look to old or a gave him a way to big of a chin so that made him look like an adult e.g e.g.
For this character design I decided to show how I got the creatchion of my characters witch are in lines with different colors. Then I drew a black out line of my character so that you can see the shape of my characters, the poses and the facial exspretion. In the last set at the bottom of the page idesided to give it some color ti show what kind of color this character like and it also helps you figure out what he is wearing, like in the little character you can see that he is wearing yellow wellington boots.
In this character design idea i tryed filling the page up with different parts of the body (closeups). I also Put more detail in the face to give it that 3D look but still keeping the black outlines. I tried doing a more movable pose than keep making him stand in one spot, it looked way more interesting and I decided to keep the guide lines I drew to make it more interesting and you can see the progress. I also didn't want to color in the cloths in this character design so i wright and colored the areas I wanted to design in color.
This character design was supposed to be a 3D look of the head. The key point that I was mostly looking at was trying to make the character more child like by giving him big hair, big cheeks, freckles and dots for eyes. Some areas of the character that did look child like was the freckles and the eyes, the hair didn't work even though I tried giving it a Jimmy Neutron look.
My character design idea came from one of the young carers that I listened to on the voice recording of the development of their idea's. This is my first try at creating a character design of the young carers idea. I would describe this drawing as less inviting the reason why I think that is because there isn't enough design ideas on the page to show different angles and emotions of this character. I found that i tend to make the character older when i do a side view. The positive thing about this character design is that it gave me more ideas on how i could design the clothes, hair and facial expressions.

The 2D Facial Animator creates facial expressions, extremes and phonemes for stop motion animated characters. 2D designs and animation need to convey emotion, movement, action and personality, specifically focusing on lip sync. This position requires a level of sophistication of technique on a feature film level.
Note: This position will be located on-site at our Studio in Oregon. When sending samples, include a demo reel with 2D Animation lip sync samples, as well as expression sheet and turnarounds.

Critical Evaluation
I did this in one of my lessons and i found it quite difficult to do. The reason why i found it so hard is because i was supposed to do a storyboard of emotion's, so i couldn't draw someone showing emotion i had to draw that emotion. I really didn't find it fun at all, what i wanted to do was draw a storyboard that had people showing emotions, so anyway this is a drawing of a emotion starting from calm to fear it took me a long time to do it but once i new what i was doing i was fine.Critical Evaluation
I would describe the shapes as drawings of emotions and the use of colour was to show the emotion getting more active, I would say the lines are to keep the emotions in (bottle up your emotion). I'd say that most people would show the emotions on people’s faces and not the emotion itself. I created this piece of work on the computer using the software adobe flash and using a Wacom tablet. If I were to put instruments in with this piece of work it would start off with a flute, violin, trumpet, French horn and it would work its way up to a piano, guitar, cello and end with the drum kit and cymbals.
I believe the use of colour I used was quite powerful; I think people have a strong link to colours to show emotion. I dislike the fact I’m showing what an emotion would look like and I would prefer someone showing the emotion instead.
In my spare time I have been looking at motion comics I have only seen two different types of motion comics one was called Spider-woman and the other was Buffy the vampire slayer. My favorite would have to be Buffy, because i have always watched it and it was different seeing it in animation instead of reality. What i liked out of motion comic is that they don't miss out on all the different types of monsters where in the reality one they might have not got a lot of money to be able to create the monsters that they need. what I didnt like about the motion comic is the fact you can never tell who is saying what because the lips don't move when they talk. I like this sort of animation because its different and I like the fact it doesn't move as much as an ordinary animation.
This is a Mood Board that I and tiffany did; we had about an hour and a half to do it. We picked the pictures off the internet and the pictures are about chaos, we couldn't really find anything that could represent order so we decided to draw what we think order might be. Tiffany sketched the idea of order and I drew it on the computer with a tablet, I drew it on the computer because she hadn't used a tablet before. I like the drawings I think there simple and gets to the point, I also like the righting to say what the pictures mean. What I don't like and what I would change is the background it’s to plain and there could have been something there that could link order and chaos together, but all in all I think it was a very good first try and now I know what to do the next time I have to do a mood board.
What I know about caricatures is that they have big heads and small body. There funny and existing drawings that make you want to laugh. One of my favourites would have to be the drawing of house from the TV series I thought it was so cool, I especially like the fact someone could have drawn him normally and then pulled the chin down and pushed his cheeks out a bit. I think the only thing I don't like about these types of drawings are the fact they can be quite disturbing sometimes like Penelope Cruz she just reminds me of the gremlins.
